Bollywood Makeup Looks Biography
The Bollywood film industry is gigantic and generates billions of dollars annually. The Asian women that are the faces of Bollywood are stunning and incontrovertible proof that ethnicity is beautiful. The likes of the beautiful Aishwarya Rai, Frieda Pinto, Priyanka Chopra and many others have graced TV screens worldwide and have impressed many with their beauty and exotic looks.

Bollywood makeup is incomplete without defined, winged eyeliner in black for an intensified and dramatic effect. Kajal or Kohl is commonly used to create this look. It is a very dark liner that is extremely popular among the women in India, Pakistan and the Middle East. It is in fact the staple makeup product in these parts of the world. Kajal comes in a variety of forms; pencil, liquid and powder. Some products may contain herbal properties like almond oil or castor oil. When properly applied, kajal offers a dramatic enhancement to the eyes, making them look bigger and lends a defined look to the entire face.

There are also different techniques to using the kajal kohl. One may apply the pencil on the eyelids creating a very clean line, or line the waterline of the eyes to create a subtle but defining look. One may use their fingertips to smudge it on their eyelids creating a smoky look or even to use it as a base for their eye shadow.

Indian women’s skin tends to have yellow undertones and many have olive skin that works well with copper, bronze and green shades. For lipstick, many favour brown and peachy shades. Save for bridal makeup, bright red is rare because of the tendency to downplay lip makeup in favour of the eyes.

Indian weddings are an elaborate affair, with lots of flowers, jewellery, pomp and festivity. Red and gold tend to be the predominant hues used when it comes to décor, dressing and even makeup.

Two more unique and exotic elements of Indian aesthetics and makeup are Mehndi (temporary henna tattoo on the hands) and the Bindi.

 The Bindi

The bindi is a most visually fascinating form of body decoration. There is great importance attached to this ornamental mark on the forehead between the eyebrows. The area between the eyebrows (where the bindi is placed) is said to be the sixth chakra the seat of “concealed wisdom”. According to followers of Hinduism, this chakra is the exit point for kundalini energy. The bindi is said to retain energy and strengthen concentration. It is also said to protect against demons or bad luck. A bindi is usually a small or a big round mark or crystal ornament stuck to the skin as an adornment.

Night Shyamalan's Oscar-nominated The Sixth Sense, for which Willis won the People's Choice Award. He has also starred in what could be considered his signature role, detective John McClane, in the blockbuster Die Hard film franchise: Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, 1995's global box office champion Die Hard: With a Vengeance and Live Free or Die Hard.
Willis will be seen later this year in Sylvester Stallone's action adventure thriller The Expendables, and in Robert Schwentke's Red, also starring Morgan Freeman and based on the graphic novel from Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner. His wide array of film credits also includes Michael Bay's Armageddon; Sin City, directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, as well as Rodriguez's Grind House; Antoine Fuqua's Tears of the Sun; Barry Levinson's Bandits and What Just Happened; Unbreakable, which reunited him with director Shyamalan; Jon Turteltaub's The Kid; Rob Reiner's The Story of Us; Breakfast of Champions and Mortal Thoughts, both for director Alan Rudolph; Edward Zwick's The Siege; Luc Besson's The Fifth Element; Walter Hill's Last Man Standing; Robert Zemeckis's Death Becomes Her; and Blake Edwards' Blind Date.

His additional film credits include The Jackal; Mercury Rising; Hart's War; The Whole Nine Yards and its sequel, The Whole Ten Yards; Hostage; 16 Blocks; Alpha Dog; Lucky Number Slevin; and Perfect Stranger. He also provided the voice of the wise-cracking baby in Look Who's Talking and Look Who's Talking Too, and more recently lent his voice to the animated features Over the Hedge and Rugrats Go Wild!

In addition to his work before the cameras, Willis produced Hostage and The Whole Nine Yards and executive produced Breakfast of Champions, adapted from Kurt Vonnegut's bestselling novel. With brother David Willis and business partner Stephen Eads, he co-founded Willis Brothers Films, a film production company based in Los Angeles.

Willis first achieved international stardom when he won the starring role of irreverent private eye David Addison on the groundbreaking hit television series Moonlighting. His work on the show brought him several acting honors, including an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. In 2000, Willis won another Emmy for his guest appearance on Friends.

A native of New Jersey, Willis studied with Montclair State College's prestigious theatre program and began his career on the stage. His first major leading role came in the 1984 off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love, which ran for 100 performances. Still maintaining a hand in the theatre, Willis co-founded A Company of Fools, a non-profit theatre troupe committed to developing and sustaining stage work in the Wood River Valley of Idaho and throughout the U.S. He also starred in and directed a staging of Shepard's dark comedy True West at the Liberty Theater in Hailey, Idaho. The play, which depicts the troubled relationship between two brothers, was aired on Showtime and is dedicated to Willis' late brother, Robert.

An accomplished musician, Willis recorded the 1986 Motown album The Return of Bruno, which went platinum and featured the #5 Billboard hit Respect Yourself. Three years later, he recorded a second album, titled If It Don't Kill You, It Just Makes You Stronger. In 2002, he launched a U.S. club tour with his music group, Bruce Willis and the Blues Band, and traveled to Iraq to play for U.S. troops.

Teri Hatcher Biography
Born: December 08, 1964

A star of television and feature films, Teri Hatcher also holds the distinction of being the woman whose photographs were most frequently downloaded from the Internet in the late '90s. With her brunette hair, beautiful brown eyes, mischievous smile, and petite but curvaceous figure, it isn't difficult to imagine why. While Hatcher could probably thrive for years as a virtual pinup, there is more to her than drop-dead gorgeous looks. The daughter of a physicist and a computer programmer, she initially studied math and engineering at a San Francisco area community college before the acting bug bit. She later enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre. At age 20, she was a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers. Hatcher made her television debut in 1985, playing Amy, one of the singing/dancing Mermaids on the revived anthology series Love Boat. Shortly thereafter, she became a regular on the action-adventure series MacGyver and more guest-starring roles on other shows followed, but she did not become a bona fide star until 1993, after she was selected to star opposite Dean_Cain in the television series Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Hatcher stuck with the show until it ended its run in 1997, and though she would lay low for a few subsuquent years, Hatcher's career caught a second wind and a half with her starring role on the comedy Desperate Housewives, a phenomenally successful show that made the actress a bigger star than ever.
