How to Do Makeup for Indians

Women of Indian decent have some of the most beautiful features. Their almond shaped eyes are gorgeous and they should be the main focus when applying makeup. Indian women like every ethnicity vary in skin tones, from olive to dark complexions and by choosing the right makeup color for your specific skin tone you can create an absolutely flawless look. Makeup should be used to enhance the natural beauty of a woman, but should not be overwhelming. Follow the simple steps below to create a flawless look fit for an Indian queen.

Step One: Treating the complexion.

Start by applying a moisturizing day cream or make-up base to facilitate it and develop it at a time. Apply a nice light foundation and matte. Choose the color according to its natural skin tone. In case of skin, choose a foundation color apricot. Apply foundation with a sponge or with the palms of the hand. While stretching the foundation to the neck to avoid the effect mask. Apply a blush-colored pomegranate or copper in the hollow of the cheek upwards towards the temple. Possibly apply some very light touches around the face to give him good looks.

Step Two: The eye makeup.

It is an Essential step and probably the most fun Indian eye makeup. It’s a real art! To begin, we must make a gradient with two colors. Kohl – it always! – Is an essential part of the makeup of India, the Indian love it. To apply it, we must start from the inside of the eye and then stretch the line towards the temple. It is also advisable to bring along the lash line below. To fix the kohl along the lash less, apply a black shadow on top, using a fine brush and bevelled. Finish with a black mascara.

Step Three: The makeup of the mouth.

Use a lip liner and lipstick red carmine or grenade. Possibly adding a touch of gloss transparent to the glamorous effect.

Final touch: The bindi.

This will give full scope to this makeup, it is the ornaments! We must therefore bear some flashy jewelery oriental style and of course, draw a “bindi” (also known as Pottu or tilak) between the eyes. It is this dark red which characterizes so many beautiful Hindu. Traditionally, we draw a black dot for unmarried girls, and a red for married women.
